1958 the Ambu Phantom was launched as Ambu's first manikin. The introduction of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the need to train specialist medical personnel, led to a greater demand. Today Ambu offers abroad range of manikins in the areas of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
